Last year 2023 HOFA was also holding a mix and remix contest with the song “Bloody Christmas” written and produced by HOFA CEO Jochen Sachse.

In my opinion, the original is very rocky and guitar-heavy.

That’s why I decided on a remix that is more in the dance/pop genre.

Of the materials provided, as I always do with my remixes, I only used the vocals and built everything else around myself.

As requested, this time I paid particular attention to the recognizability of the original and its “radio-compatibility”. That’s why I didn’t include any weird or crazy things.

On LabelRadar I found the remix contest for “Follow The Light” from The Forgotten. On short notice I decided to create a remix and I speeded it up from 150 to 180 BpM.

It was in 1983 when the rock band Yes released “Owner of a Lonely Heart“. I was excited when I found the remake “Lonely Heart” from Alesso & John Alto on LabelRadar‘s remix competition.

I turned my remix in to a harddance version.

On LabelRadar I found a remix contest for the house track “Won’t Take It Back” from JackEL feat. Paris Vegas. For my remix I turned it into a hard dance version where the trumpet has a prominent role.
