I have no idea what they are singing in “Ode Ireti” from &friends, El-Jay & Oluwadamvic. But I took the challenge for the remix contest from LabelRadar. I created a bass dominating remix that still keeps the structure of the original.
Category: Remix
This is for tracks I created remixes. The composer is not me.
Scars
On LabelRadar I found the opportunity to remix “Scars” from Stadtmos & Sky Garden. As usual I only took the vocals and built my own music around it.
My Dreams
I fell in love with “My Dreams” from JackEL feat. Trice Be when I found the remix contest on LabelRadar. As usual I only took the vocals and created everything around by myself.
Ground Shake
On LabelRadar I found “Ground Shake” from Crankdat & Bandlez to remix. I created a kind of soft hardstyle version.
Down On The Beat
The song “Down On The Beat” from Ren feat. Viktus I found on LabelRadar was a challenge because of the rap. I tried to create a remix in a different style compared to the original one.
Reason Why
The song “Reason Why” from Matt Steffanina feat. Bailey May is a nice dance pop track I found on LabelRadar. I turned the remix into my style.
Bad Kisser
This time this was really a challenge to create a remix for the remix contest of LabelRadar as the vocals provided have a very bad quality (sound of headphones on the recording) of “Bad Kisser” from Tomachka.
Also I like melody of the verse more than the chorus. So I created a drop based on the verse melody.
North Star
I found on LabelRadar the opportunity to remix “North Star” from SABAI & Hoang feat. Casey Cook. I transformed the electronic track into a more dance style that is more my preference.
Zombie
With “Zombie” from JackEL & Too Deep feat. Sam King I was not really happy with the stems I downloaded from LabelRadar for the remix competition.
Then I decided to take only the vocals and create around a complete new song with own chord progressions and melodies.
Don’t Stop
I found on LabelRadar a remix competition for “Don’t Stop” from Dukewood, De Hofnar & Kav Verhouzer is a great song. It was really difficult, but I transformed it into my style.
My wife likes my remix more than the original. And that happens very rarely.
